Marianna Pogosyan, PhD teaches Positive Psychology, Cultural Psychology, and Intercultural Competence to university students from across the world. Having lived in 7 countries, she deeply enjoys working with international executives and their families in all matters of psychological adaptation to a life far from home. She is the author of the Between Cultures blog for Psychology Today, where she interviews prominent scientists and explores the latest research in psychological science. Her articles have been read by over 4 million people worldwide. Recently, Marianna completed a 9-month-long intensive training in Mindfulness and Psychotherapy from the Institute for Meditation and Psychotherapy in Boston, USA, and a 10-week Mindful Self-Compassion course from the Center for Mindful Self-Compassion. Nowadays, Marianna calls The Netherlands home, where she lives with her family.
